Composer

I enjoy exploring how music can enhance storytelling. My works include polyphonic choral arrangements, string ensemble compositions, and solo repertoire. I am interested in creating music that enhances specific themes and narratives including:

Scores with programmatic themes that align with a school’s curriculum
Music for live theatre
Short films
Multimedia productions

In collaboration with the Central Works Theater Company, the musical score I wrote for their production of “The Yellow Wallpaper” was nominated for a Theater Bay Area Award.

My Violin Studio

Learning to play the violin is a life-long journey of self-mastery, self-discipline and self-discovery. I currently offer private lessons in person and online.

Writer

I began writing personal essays a few years ago during a time of deep reflection. On October 31, 2023, in memory of my father, I started publishing my stories online.

As a founding member of Creative Heartbeats, I am committed to help enrich the lives of people affected by Congenital Heart Disease through collaborative creative projects.
